How long does a dashcam install take?

About an hour for most cars — a little longer if you've added 24 hours recording mode.

What is 24 hours recording mode?

Accepted Answer

It lets the camera keep recording while your car is parked and switched off. It needs a hardwire/OBD connection, which we set up cleanly for +RM 125.

Question 5

I already have a dashcam — can you just fit it?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Install-only is RM 120 standard or RM 135 for hardwire-OBD, hidden wiring included. Just choose install-only when you book.

Which memory card do I need?

Accepted Answer

It depends on how long you want to keep footage before it auto-deletes: roughly 2h on 32GB, 4.5h on 64GB, or 9h on 128GB. We'll guide you when you book.

When do I pay?

You pay on completion, once you've checked everything works. No deposit needed.

How do I confirm my booking?

Send the booking on the site and we'll WhatsApp you to confirm the final date, time and location. Quick and friendly — no call centre.

Will installing a dashcam or parking mode void my car warranty?

Accepted Answer

No. As long as parking surveillance is what you're after, we have proven ways to wire it up cleanly without voiding your car warranty — done safely, the right way.

Do you give a warranty on the installation?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every installation comes with a 6-month workmanship warranty. If anything isn't right with our wiring, we'll come back to you and sort it out.

Can I use my dashcam footage for an insurance or accident claim?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many of our customers have come back and told us their footage helped their case with the authorities and insurers after an incident — that peace of mind is the whole point.

Will 24 hours recording mode drain my car battery?

No. Our hardwire installs include voltage protection that automatically cuts power off before your battery runs too low — so you can leave parking mode on with total peace of mind, even on an older car.

How do I view or download my footage?

Every dashcam we install has app control — just open the app on your phone and download the clip you need. Forgot how? No worries, PM us anytime and we'll walk you through it.

How good is the night vision?

Excellent. All the dashcams we fit have strong night vision, and our higher models add super night vision with HDR for sharp, clear footage even in the dark.

Do you remove my old dashcam?

Usually yes, free of charge — but it's case by case, depending on how the previous installer wired it up. Let us know your current setup and we'll tell you upfront.

Do I need to be there during the installation?

No need. Just pass us your keys and relax — we'll get everything done properly and hand it back ready to go.
